Do I have to use same device for OSHA online courses?

Do I always have to use the same device when taking my course?

Our courses are designed so you can train anywhere, anytime, on any device.  This means you can start your course on one device, log off, and resume your training on any other device (laptop, desktop, tablet, or mobile device).   


If you are taking a proctored OSHA Outreach course, you can switch to a different device but you will need assistance from our Customer Care team to reset the proctoring software.  This will only take a few minutes and we are happy to get you back to your training on your new device.  Please contact our U.S.-based Customer Care Team at 713-952-1100.


The courseware is designed to fit into your schedule, with the opportunity to leave and reenter the course as many times as necessary. When you reenter the course, you are placed at the beginning of the section that you left and there is a bookmark in the top right of the page. When you select that bookmark, the course will return you to the last page you were on when you left the course.  If you exit the task while taking an exam you will immediately return to the exam upon return.

IMPORTANT: Want to take a break and come back at a later time? Log out of the course to ensure you do not exceed the maximum amount of time allowed by OSHA.
